Hi there, I’m Michelle Leonard and welcome to my blog page. The purpose of my site is to be an online perspective from someone outside of the aviation domain in regards to unmanned systems. While the posts are assignments from Embry-Riddle University, I think it’s important for ideas from a variety of backgrounds and viewpoints be considered in most situations.
My Professional Background
I commissioned in the U.S. Army as an intelligence officer in 2007 and served on active duty for over 8 years before being medically retired. I spent my entire career within Brigade Combat Teams where I served in a variety of duty positions. In these jobs, I would provide my command teams with information updating them on the current situation of operations in our area or other areas of the world. As of March 2016, I joined the Northrop Grumman team as a contractor where I now work as an intelligence collective trainer.
